Welcome to the February 1997 Macworld cover CD This issue of the Macworld CD-ROM is packed with almost 650MB of the very best Mac software currently available. To use the CD, just double click on any of the folders and then double click again on any programs or sub-folders that interest you. If you have problems running any particular program directly from the CD, copy its folder to your hard disk and run it from there. To exit from programs you can normally press Command-Q. If this fails to get you out of a particular program, try pressing Alt-Command-Esc and then clicking on "Force Quit". If you haven't already installed QuickTime 2.5, do so now.   This includes the latest versions of Sound Manager and MoviePlayer. Also, install Acrobat Reader 3 (in the System Utilities folder) as many of the on-disc manuals are in this format. You'll also find the latest versions of DropStuff and StuffIt Expander in the System Utilities folder.   For further details please refer to the Cover CD pages in this month's magazine. We hope you enjoy using this CD-ROM and look forward to seeing you next month.   Vic Lennard (disk editor) and the Macworld Editorial team.
